BACKGROUND : All the documents currently distributed in Latin manuscripts 106 to 120 were recorded in the 17th century in the Inventory of works then kept "En la Garderobbe". This inventory was drawn up around 1667: the documents of the Latin Mss. 106-120 were grouped together in "bundles of letters" (cf. Arch. BPU, Dk 3, f° 190r°-194r°; B. Gagnebi n. p. 110-113). This inventory listed the manuscripts acquired or received by the Library during the 17th century, and mainly those concerning the Registres du Consistoire, the Registres de la Compagnie des Pasteurs, the correspondence of the Church of Geneva, the acts of the synods of France, and the manuscripts given by the Waldensians of Piedmont.
