Presentation of the contents : - This manuscript contains numerous letters addressed by or received by Calvin. Among the senders, let us point out Martin Bucer. A detailed table of the letters, in alphabetical order of senders, is found at the end of the volume, on fol. 253-257.
On the back endpaper, penned annotation: "This volume was repaired and rebound in June 1905. The foliation in red ink dates from earlier, which did not allow for any change in the order of the documents. Moreover, many of these letters have been published or quoted by authors with references to the manuscript. There was therefore some advantage in not proceeding with a different classification."
